    The update has been a success and we are extremely happy to see everyone enjoying all of the new content. Our 4 months of hard work has finally paid off.

    I just wanted to update you guys on two things that I thought were important.


    • We have confirmed and found the cause of the FPS issue related to Shooters that began with previous updates. Will be fixed with next update (probably later this week).
    • Rondow sets are meant as an achievement, not as a set that provides a PvP/PK advantage. We are considering making their stats the same as Teragrace on Lurile. On Ark there will be a minor difference (very small).



    Game Performance Issue after Shooter

    We've identified an issue with the new graphics engine that is causing the game to perform significantly worse than it did before in certain scenarios. This is weird because after we tested the new engine, it actually performed better.

    However, we tested the new engine performance before we added Shooter. And because of this, we did not notice that the new graphics engine performed worse with newer models but better with older ones.

    We will release an update very soon that will fix this. Please be p


    Rondow Sets

    It's been 6 years since a new set was released. Rondow, although new, and although technically the "last" set, won't provide a competitive advantage against Teragrace. We aim to have the stats higher, but not by much. Certainly by less than would make a difference in PvP/PK. We want this set to be more of an achievement rather than something you have to farm in order to be competitive.

    Furthermore, we're even considering making the Rondow set have the same stats as Teragrace on the Lurile chard.


    • Bugs with the new class (weapon drops, options, etc) along with some other fixes will be released soon.
    • Siege Revamp with 3 Siege maps also planned.

    New sets means a better advantage over the old set then wats the point of farming 24hrs+ /dropping $ trying to upgrade/DN them if they are just a 1% (FYI just throwing % out there  tera set 1% and new set 2%) stronger than tera set really makes no sense at all.

    Dear Nitex,

    Much appreciation for the hard work done by you and your team.

    I understand that many old  players would be upset regarding the new set since they spent a lot of effort and donation in getting it.  But  making the Rondow set similar as Tera set in stats will also upset some players and will make farming  and upgrading the new set less entertainment.

    I recommend to make the tera set superior in PVE and the Rondow set superior in PVP. This will make players satisfied  in having both sets since they are both needed in-game.

    I believe Rondow should only be slightly stronger than tera gear, just like how tera is with osmium.  Rising has always followed low gear gap between sets, so suddenly making Rondow stronger than tera by a significant margin goes against this principle and will greatly upset balance. 

    Even if tera was only slightly stronger than osmium, this didn't stop people from farming in order to buy tera set, so the same motivation should be applied on people farming for rondow

    I think a rough number for a decent upgrade but still in line with keeping Teragrace competitive would be 5% overall this method was used in Tera MMO back in the day which allowed people to skip upgrading a set if they didn't want to since 5% while it was an increase it wasn't game breaking and skill was better than that 5%. If you are critting 60k right now a 5% increase overall means those 60k crits would be 63k crits it's a gain but nothing major (PvE numbers but PvP would work the same 5000 Crit would become 5,250.) This theory works because all the extra values like DN stats would stay the same depending on your rolls.
